CANDELIA

Origin

Dana was delivering candles to a TV studio when a blackout hit in the middle of a live reunion show and the cast began to argue in the dark. She lit one of her candles, and in its glow everyone saw what had really happened. The arguing stopped. Her flame has shown the truth behind the drama ever since.

Powers

• Calmflame: the glow of her candle cools hot tempers; arguments soften into conversations
• Replay Glow: her flame replays the last few minutes of what really happened, like a rewind
• Scent Trail: follows anyone by the faint scent they leave behind

Weakness

Shouting: when too many people talk over each other, her flame flickers out.

Sidekick

Dolly, a fluffy cream llama with a tiny gold candle crown who gasps dramatically at every twist.

Villain

The Stirrer, Rex Ruckus, a gossip who stirs up feuds with a giant silver spoon so he can sell the drama.

Costume

a cream and blush long tailored coat-suit with antique-gold trim, sand-coloured flat boots, a gold lantern bracelet that holds a tiny candle flame.
